Dr. Franceschi was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He received his medical training at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. He completed his Internal Medicine training at the San Juan Municipal Hospital where he also acted as a Chief Resident. His Cardiovascular Disease training was completed at the San Juan VA Medical Center and his Interventional Cardiology training was completed at the University of Florida located in Gainesville, Fl. Dr. Franceschi is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and SCAI. His areas of special interests include coronary interventions, general consultative cardiology, prevention, acute coronary syndrome, heart failure and echocardiography.
