Dr. Willis was born in St. Augustine, Florida. He attended Medical School at Loma Linda University in California and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Alabama. He was a professor of medicine and taught at Loma Linda University for 13 years prior to moving to Orlando.

He is a prolific author as well as a well known Cardiovascular Physician. He has written and produced many abstracts, book chapters, articles, and videos. He has received many awards and honors for his work.

Dr. Willis is currently active in the lecture field, cardiovascular research, as well as clinical cardiology.
