Dr. Monir was born in Alexandria, Egypt. He joined Florida Heart Group bringing a vast amount of expertise from international sources as he practiced medicine in both Kuwait and Egypt. His education mirrors that international experience.

He has received several awards and honors for his work and wrote many abstracts and publications. He specializes in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiac electrophysiology. He has extensive expertise in management and ablation of complex arrhythmia including atrial fibrillation ablations.
