Dr. Arias was born in Pereira, Colombia and graduated from the University of Caldas Medical School in Manizales, Caldas, Colombia. Throughout medical school, he was awarded the University of Caldas Trustee’s Scholarship and graduated with honors as Summa Cum Laude.

Florida Heart Group began in 1979 as a two-man cardiology practice with Dr. Philip Littleford and Dr. R. Charles Curry, Jr. Dr. Kerry M. Schwartz joined Dr. Littleford and Dr. Curry in 1980, and by 1983 had established the first comprehensive cardiac arrhythmia service in Central Florida. Our international group of cardiologists in Orlando blends substantial experience and training with a fiscally responsible approach to invasive and non-invasive cardiology, interventional cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
Dr. Bhatheja is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India.
Dr. Bomma is a board certified clinical cardiac electrophysiologist and cardiologist who performs complex ablations for arrhythmia treatment and specializes in cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators. He provides general cardiology care as well.
Dr. Puxiao Cen has practiced as an Invasive Cardiologist with Florida Heart Group and within Florida Hospital systems since 2001. Dr. Cen earned her medical degree at Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences, Guangzhou, China, completed Internal Medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Curry was one of the founders of Florida Heart Group in 1979. He completed all of his medical education at the University of Florida. He served on the faculty in cardiology and rose to an associate professor of medicine with tenure when he left to come to Orlando.
Dr. Fahey was born and raised in New York. He joined the Florida Heart Group in 1995 after completing a residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Franceschi was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He received his medical training at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. He completed his Internal Medicine training at the San Juan Municipal Hospital where he also acted as a Chief Resident.
Dr. Guerrero was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She joined Florida Heart Group in 2002 after moving from Columbia, Missouri where she was an Associate with Missouri Cardiovascular Specialists.
Dr. Kim joined Florida Heart Group in April 2006. He is originally from Florence, South Carolina. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. He went on to receive his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.
Dr. Lozano was born and raised in Colombia, South America. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Caldas, School of Medicine. He joined Florida Heart Group in 2008 after completing his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College and his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.
